"I bought my third Lisa Joyce-Hill painting, Moments in the Countryside, from The Sharpe Gallery a few months ago. The first two Joyce-Hill paintings I bought fit my tastes so well I wanted to round out my collection. The first two were packaged and delivered in great condition. I was concerned about shipping for the recent purchase since it is pretty sizable at 48 x 48. Moments in the Countryside arrived in excellent shape. It was packaged so well in a plywood crate custom-made for the painting and wrapped in bubble wrap and surrounded by packing peanuts that wasn't affected by the shipping at all. I uncrated it in perfect shape and it looks perfect in my home." Jeff

"Czerny, Op 821" by Sarah Gorham
"You have a very nice art collection. Although we enjoy seeing local scenes of Kennebunkport, the Maine Islands, and other parts of Maine, it's refreshing to see other type of art work too. We like that The Sharpe Gallery is different."

Art collectors from Lexington, Kentucky love their horse paintings!
"Hi Tracey --- you may remember we bought a few paintings this past summer at your gallery. We're from Lexington, KY. Please let us know of new artworks by Michael Guinane, as we are buying a new house that has lots of wall space! We love his horse paintings that we purchased last summer, and enjoy them every day. Hope you are doing well. It was so nice to meet you and to find your wonderful gallery." Christina

Pop-up Art Exhibits Supporting Charities
The Sharpe Gallery customers from Bethesda, MD attended Saturday night's benefit event in DC (Art for Charity) and this is a message we received from them. "Thank you so much for inviting us to your pop-up art exhibit. The art work was lovely, and the people were wonderful. (And those milk shakes!!!) But seeing you was the highlight. It’s always a pleasure to spend time together. Please send us more information about the painting that we are considering when you have a chance." Connie
Celebrating a Milestone Birthday at The Sharpe Gallery
The Sharpe Gallery just received a nice e-mail message from our customers in DC who had a private function here at the gallery last Saturday night. For the long weekend, they invited 25 guests and rented one home in Kennebunkport, another in Cape Porpoise and had a fantastic time in Southern Maine during one of the prettiest times of the year!
"The event went over very well. Your help coordinating with the caterers that day, running out to get additional requested items, and managing the other logistics let me visit with everyone. I can't think of any improvements that could have made it better. Everyone commented how nice the evening was and how much they enjoyed meeting you."
Fine Art and Quality Service!
"The Sharpe Gallery was a wonderful find. We bought 'Blue Creeper' by Linda Murray. I just fell in love with the painting and Tracey, the proprietor of the gallery, was wonderfully helpful. She answered all of my questions - I had a lot!! She made me feel so comfortable that I could ask some quite basic questions about the various styles of art. She was endlessly patient with me.
The Sharpe Gallery has some beautiful Maine landscapes, and wonderful European pieces; but it's known more for its less pedestrian pieces. A great variety all around.
Perhaps the best part - Tracey and Linda came to our home to deliver the painting and even helped hang it. We live west of Boston, so it was over 2 hours away - now that's what I call service!!" Bernadette
